Design inspiration

Two references run through the Cadence. The first is the striped uniform - the starkest, most legible pattern in the history of institutional workwear, worn precisely because it could be read at a glance from any distance. The second is the piano keyboard, where black and white alternate in a fixed, exacting sequence that musicians learn to navigate by feel. The Cadence borrows the boldness of the first and the precision of the second - a stripe wide enough to announce itself, matched edge to edge with the same discipline a keyboard demands.

Craft details

The front is finished with a clean V-neck and no collar. Three horizontal stripe patch pockets with scalloped lower edges, creating visual contrast with the vertical stripes on the body of the garment. Back is a single uninterrupted striped panel with no centre seam. The magnets are hidden in double-layer interlining of the front placket, engaging the opposite panel on contact. Every panel is checked for stripe alignment at the cutting stage before assembly, and the magnetic units are rated through 200+ wash cycles.
