The actual closing mechanism moves underneath, into magnets set inside the interlining. Nothing visible. Everything easier. Effortless one-handed dressing.

Design inspiration

Long before the waistcoat became a gentleman's layer, it was part of everyday life in the Alpine valleys of Central Europe. Hunters, foresters, and gamekeepers wore stand-collared waistcoats for layering through changing weather and long days outdoors. The Riverstone follows that same tradition with a tailored stand collar. The cognac piping recalls the contrast-bound waistcoats worn across the Austrian Alps during the 19th century - a quiet sign that the garment had been made with exceptional care.

Craft details

The Shell is a slubbed cotton-linen blend, heathered grey. Stand collar, both armholes, and all three welt pockets bound in cognac. The back is a single panel with a concise look. The hidden magnets are heat-set into a double-layer reinforced interlining behind the button row, spaced for full-surface engagement - no hardware visible on either face; all units rated through 200+ wash and wear cycles.
