Design intent

Most leather vests are decorative - beautiful in a flat lay, impractical the moment you actually move. The Traveler is the opposite: built for edge and utility in one garment. The magnetic closure system moves the alignment operation from the wearer's fingers to the magnets built into both sides of the zipper base. The four-pocket layout is deliberately proportioned so nothing looks tacked on. The silhouette is close but never restrictive. It exists because getting dressed on the move shouldn't mean sacrificing either.

Design inspiration

The Traveler draws from the utility vests of the American West in the 1970s, and from the parallel tradition of the rider’s gilet and frontier outerwear - garments built to adapt across changing conditions rather than a single setting. The burnished brown evokes the color leather takes on after years of use and wax conditioning - the vest ships looking already earned.
