Design intent

A vest has one job: warmth without commitment, something to throw on and shed without ceremony. The Lodge Vest keeps that logic intact and removes the one part of it that was never quite effortless - the buttons. The hidden magnetic closure system turns the front closure into a single motion, so the vest does what a good vest has always done, just faster.

Design inspiration

Buffalo check has carried North American outdoor dress since the logging camps of the late 19th century, where the high-contrast block pattern was worn as much for visibility in dense timber as for warmth. This colorway takes that same block check and drops it into charcoal and black - a quieter, more tonal read than the traditional red-and-black, better suited to layering under a jacket without competing with it.

Craft details

The shell is a brushed cotton twill woven in an oversized two-tone check, brushed to soften the surface and lift the contrast between the charcoal and black blocks. The neckline is a clean, collarless V framed by a single unbroken front placket. Two lower patch pockets sit at hip level, edge-topstitched for structure. The hidden magnets are heat-set into a reinforced interlining directly behind the buttons, invisible from both the outer twill and the lining. All magnetic units are encapsulated before assembly and rated through 200+ machine-wash cycles.
